The message you are replying to: A Few Obvious Benefits that I've Noticed

I just stumbled on this software and tried it out just prior to puchasing it and wanted to give feedback on a few obvious benefits that the Eclipse Logbook offers over another logbook program that I had previously used and had been frustrated with. 1) Eclipse allows you the option to edit any portion of a trip without resetting the rest of the trip information for the remainder of the day. It is a real pain to have to reenter all of your trip information just because you made a mistake earlier in the day. 2) Eclipse is so much easier and cleaner looking than a few other logbook programs. 3) Eclipse's Auto-Fill fields make data entry so much easier and more likely that they would be used. This might be more applicable for paper log users who mainly use a program like this to check their hours of service where filling in every single field may not be necessary. I never used most of the text fields in my previous program because of having to retype everything out in full. 4) Eclipse allows user to notate activities such as "Scaling" or "Tolls" even if there is no need to move into a non-driving status. 5) Eclipse is not bogged down with tons of bugs. 6) The program is really reasonably priced for what you get. I really appreciate these benefits and hope that Eclipse continues to add additional features without making so complicated that it will compromise its ease of use.
