Most of our fields carry forward automatically, including any changes you make.
The only exception I can think of is when you "peek ahead" several days (causing the last info to be copied forward), and then move back. As you flip to each log (visiting it the second time) it can look like your changes aren't being carried forward.
I tested it on my machine to make sure, and it carries forward the address changes I put in.
Try changing it on the latest log you're working on, and then flip to the next day. It should carry forward.
If it doesn't, contact support during business hours when you have access to high-speed internet. They can remote-in to your PC and observe the behavior and see if they notice anything unusual.
