    Out of Memory

I am getting an error message that it is out of memory. I have the updated version that was released on 3/21/11. Can someone help me?

First, try rebooting your machine and then run Logbook before any other software.

Let me know if you still get the message.

Has it been working, and stopped? Or has it never worked?

How much memory does your machine have? (Right click My Computer and select Properties, look for Installed RAM).

He used it all last year. There is a lot of GB left on the PC. (A large part of the pie is pink).

The pie is disk space. You left-clicked the computer, not right-clicked and selected Properties.

If it was working, and now after a reboot with nothing else running it gives out of memory, that sounds fishy. Do you have antivirus running?

You can also run sysmon to see available memory.

    Re: Out of Memory

Okay, it seems as thought the Out of Memory message only comes when viewing cetrain dates. This time it seems that 7/25/11 is the special date it doesn't like. You get the message and it closes Logbook. When you open it back up, and select any other date except 7/25/11, everything works fine. All old logs have been deleted. The only current logs are 6/23/11-7/29/11. This has happened several other times with the same error message, that was why the old logs were deleted. There is a virus protection on the pc that is updated daily and run daily. No viruses found.

Now that is useful information! I think you might have a corrupted data file. If you can contact our support department during business hours, they can take a look at it. Be sure to tell them you only get the error on one day and which day that is. Cheers, --Larry

How would I find the data file to send to the Support area?

    Re: Out of Memory

On the File menu there's an option to open the data folder. Select that option. In the folder that opens, the file EclipseLogbook.sdf is your data file.
