    Re: Defer Hours

Hello, I do have a paper log form that has check boxes for Deferral Day 1 and Day 2. If you do your deferral on day one it will show you in violation until you complete day 2 because the software doesn't know if you are doing a deferral until it is actually complete. Please go to www.logbook.com and click on the CHAT NOW button on the right side to connect up to a tech so they can change you to the correct form.

So deferral day 1 and day 2 does exist as a feature. I simply need the correct paper e-form version from eclipse and it will stay on board as a feature under the paper log tab. Is that correct? Is it because it tends to create a violation that eclipse prefers not to make it a standard feature, but an optional add on that is requested specifically user by user? Thks ClemT

So the paper eform is not automatically set for defer hours selection. It needs to be requested as a special template and a tech resets the software. Is that correct.... Since it tends to create a violation until it actually is completed, it is not a standard feature on the intial release, and must be requested to Eclipse user by user? Thks

    Re: Defer Hours

That is correct. Just know it will show a violation until it is able to realize what you are trying to do. The software prefers to do it automatically as long as you are selected to audit for Canada, you can pick what jurisdiction you are auditing for in the bottom left of the software. Have the log form which allows you to choose which day you wish to defer will not make a difference. It is the auditing option that you must choose to get the software to do the deferral correctly.

No, you can change how the software audits by using the drop down box in the bottom left of the software, you will select Canada. The log form we add has not effect on how the software audits, it just has check boxes that have Day 1 & Day 2, so you can show which day you are deferring.
